Tried this recipe thinking all the different spices used would make them really stand out. They didn't. Cookies turned out rather crunchy and flavorful but not particularly bold. Still looking for a gingerbread cookie recipe that wows me.

Making this on Dec. 31, 2014 to celebrate New Years Eve 2015! My brother made ham stock from the Christmas dinner ham bone, so this looks like a great recipe to use it in!
